The Social Responsibility team at GPG/Genflex.
SHRM-Atlanta, the local chapter of the Society for Human Resource Management, has nominated General Paper Goods’ Social Responsibility team for its annual IMPACT Awards.
The IMPACT Awards recognize “individuals or teams in the Human Resources profession whose actions or initiatives have demonstrated outstanding impact and benefit to their business or community.”
The Social Responsibility team at GPG is led by HR Generalist Dedrah Pyles-Faraday. In 2016, the team created and implemented several initiatives to benefit the greater Atlanta community. These included raising money for breast cancer and Alzheimer’s awareness, as well as collecting canned goods and consumer goods for less fortunate members of the community.
GPG was nominated because its actions showed significant IMPACT: Innovation, Motivation, Performance, Achievement, Creativity or Transformation in the work being recognized.
The winners will be announced on March 30 at SHRM-Atlanta’s annual conference.
